Understanding the LinkStorm Dashboard

Learn how to navigate the LinkStorm Dashboard, track key metrics, review internal linking reports, and manage settings.

Updated yesterday

The Dashboard is your central hub in LinkStorm, providing key insights and controls to help you manage your internal linking strategy efficiently. It consists of three main sections:

  1. Google Search Console Insights (if connected)

  2. Report Summaries & Key Metrics

  3. Configurations & Controls

Let’s go over each section in detail.

1. Google Search Console Insights

If you’ve connected your Google Search Console (GSC) account, this section will display key metrics and graphical insights directly from GSC.

2. Report Summaries & Key Metrics

The Dashboard provides an overview of your internal linking reports, helping you quickly assess your site's structure and potential areas for improvement. Clicking on any metric takes you directly to the relevant section of the full report.

Pages Summary

Provides a breakdown of all pages on your site, helping you understand their indexability and internal linking potential.

  • Indexed – Pages that are both canonical and indexable. These are the preferred pages for search engines and are considered in internal linking recommendations.

  • Not Indexable – Pages with a 'noindex' directive or other restrictions preventing search engines from indexing them.

  • Non-Canonical – Pages with a canonical tag pointing to another page are considered duplicates and not treated as the primary version.

  • Excluded – Pages that are either non-canonical, not indexable, or part of an excluded list (e.g., /category or /tag pages). LinkStorm won’t suggest links to or from excluded pages.
